Magento Product Feed Generator
Running an e-commerce business is much more than creating a beautiful online store. You need to attract the right kind of audience and convince customers to shop more. One way of achieving your goal is by creating product feeds for different shopping comparison sites. Now, the manual creation of product feeds is time-consuming and prone to errors. Use Magento Product Feed extension and generate as many product feeds as required. You can use a ready-made product feed template for all types of products including simple, bundle, group, configurable, downloadable, virtual, etc.
You can use them for different shopping engines such as Google Shopping, Ebay, GetPrice, Yahoo, Shopzilla, PriceGrabber, Amazon, Bing, Nextag, MyShopping, etc. You can even customize product feeds to suit your requirements and upload them to any shopping comparison portal in CSV, XML or TXT format. You can use the category mapping drop-down feature to add custom fields and attributes.
Generate Product Feed
Generate Product Feed provide the feature to create custom feed as per your requirements. To add the Fields in the generated feed select the check box from the left side column. i.e. SKU, Product Title, Manufacturer, Category, Product URL, Image URL, Description, Sell Price, Availability, Shipping Cost, Weight, pub Date. You can also specify the field or column name and also gives default value to them. Here, if you need to add the custom fields then you can use Add New button.Using this you can add custom column in the feed.
Generate Google Feed
Using Our Google feed template feature you can set default required fields in the template so using this you can directly generate the Google feed and upload feed on the Google Merchant account easily and upload products on the Google Server.
Some fields are required in the google feed like Brand, Condition, Google Product Category etc.. are listed in the template and some recommended fields like Gtin, Tax , Shippping so if you need to add that recommended fields in the feed then select those check box. We can manage Tax and Shipping filed with it's sub filed.
In the Google feed Feed there is category mapping drop-down using that you can map Google category mapping with the magento category easily. Here, if you need to add the custom fields then use Add New button Using this you can add custom column in the feed.
Generate GetPrice Feed
Using Get Price feed template you can set default required fields in the template so using that directly generate the Get Price feed and upload feed on the getprice.com.au site.
Some fields are recommended like Brand , Model, SalePrice etc.. so if you need to add those fields in the feed then select those check box.
In the Get Price Feed, there is category mapping drop-down using that you can map Get Price category with the magento category easily. Here, if you need to add the custom fields then use Add New button using this you can add custom columns in the feed.
Generate EBay Feed
Using EBay feed template you can set default required field in the template so using that directly generate the EBay feed and upload feed on the Ebay site
Some fields are required fields like Condition, Brand / Manufacture and some fields are recommended fields like MPN/ISBN , UPC or EAN , Category , Category Id etc... so if you need to add those fields in the feed then select those check box.
In the EBay feed, there is category mapping drop-down using that you can map EBay category with the magento category easily. Here, if you need to add custom fields then use Add New button using this you can add custom columns in the feed.
Generate MyShopping Feed
Using MyShopping feed template you can set default required fields in the template so using that directly generate the MyShopping feed and upload feed on the Myshopping site.
Some fields are recommended fields like Brand , Shipping , InStock , MPN so if you need to add those fields in the feed then select those check box. Here, if you need to add the custom fields then use Add New button Using this you can add custom columns in the feed.

Q-1: When I generate the Product Feed, It produces the below error?
Ans: Do not use Number Value in the Specified field's value when you generate the feed or update the feed.

Q-2: Product Type and Google Product Category:
Ans: It is used for categories that you have defined independently. Read also: http://support.google.com/merchants/bin/answer.py?answer=188494
It is used for categories already defined by Google. Read: http://support.google.com/merchants/bin/answer.py?answer=160081 you must include this section for each of your products.

Q-3: Missing recommended attribute: Google product category
Ans: You didn't specify any category mapping for listed categories. Categories names you are using in your Magento aren't always the same that ones used by Google Merchant to reference your products. It means you have to find out which Google Merchant categories have the best matching with yours, according to the Google product taxonomy.

Q-4: Missing recommended attribute: product_type
Ans: product_type is an attribute which indicates the category of the product being submitted.

Q-5: Missing recommended attribute: image link
Ans: Image link uses the product image path.

Q-6: Missing recommended attribute: description
Ans: Google needs the description for each item. So set Short Description to the Item.

Q-7: Encoding problem in attribute: description
Ans: It means that your description contains some invalid characters: either wrongly encoded characters or unsupported characters (not supported by the utf8 character set).

Q-8: Missing required attribute: unique product identifier
Ans: Google requires some Unique Product Identifiers. It's also possible to specify that your products don't have any identifier at all:FALSE

Q-9: Missing required attribute: gender
Ans: It means you didn't specify gender. Gender is required filed for all apparel items in feeds that target the US, UK, DE, FR, and JP. 3 values accepted:
- female
- unisex
- male

Q-10: Missing required attribute: age group
Ans: You didn't specify age group. Age group is required for all apparel items in feeds that target the US, UK, DE, FR, and JP. 2 values accepted:
- adult
- kids

Q-11: When I click on "Run Profile in Popup" in Import Category Section, I get the following error ‘Could Not Load file: "...\...\var\import\import_category.csv".
Ans: It means that you didn't specify the color(s) of the item. Color is required for all apparel items in feeds that target the US, UK, DE, FR, and JP.

Q-12: Missing required attribute: size
Ans: It means that you didn't specify the size. Size is required for all apparel items in the 'clothing' and 'shoes' product categories in feeds that target the US, UK, DE, FR, and JP.

Q-13: Missing recommended attribute: google product category.
Ans: We cannot set the google_product_category tag in the configure product because of some required attributes. So if you get this kind of warning don't worry about this warning. You can upload your feed in Google server.

Q-14: When I generate the Product Feed. It give the below error?
Ans: First go back in the magento admin using browser back options. Then go to manage category mapping. Delete last Generated Category Mapping. This Error will be come because here you can use any single quotes or double quotes in the category mapping value so please remove it & try to generate category mapping again.

Q-15: Setting Root Title Tag in the XML Format file.
Ans: Set Store Name From Admin -> System -> Configuration –> General –> Store Information.Select Default Config From Current Configuration Scope then Set the Store Name. Here in the title & description we can set store name.
