Magento Admin Mobile App

Magento Admin is an easy tool to manage your Magento Store Orders with your finger tips. It will give you complete control of orders with invoices and shipments without any middleware bridge installation between your Magento Store and your Mobile. You have to just create an API USER and a ROLE and keep those details with you for Authentication purpose. This app is a secured tool as all the information transferred between the Store and this App via the use of Magento's standard API's. All the data transferred is in Standard XML format.

Let's take a look of Magento Admin App

Login Page

User can login into app from this page. User must enter store url, api username and api key of xmlrpc user of the given store.
=> Steps to create API USER and ROLE in the Admin Side:

1. First create a ROLE
    a. System -> Web Services -> SOAP/XML-RPC-Roles (or only Roles)
    b. Add New Role
    c. In the Role info, give the Role Name. In the Role Resources, Select "Sales" option and Save.

2. Create API User
    a. System -> Web Services -> SOAP/XML-RPC-Users (or only Users)
    b. In User info, give all appropriate Details in each field. (Remember User Name and API Key)
    c. In User Role, select previously created ROLE and Save.

Now, this API Username and API Key are to be entered in the Magento Admin Application along with the Store URL (for e.g. http://www.example.com) for Authentication.

By clicking orders/invoices/shipments tab, you can go through its listing.

Orders
- Orders section includes listing of orders, search and filter on time basis using status.
- View orders with complete order details and also you can change order status.
- Add/View comments and send email of order details in pdf format.

Invoices
- Invoices section includes listing of invoices, search and filter on time basis using status.
- View invoices with complete details.
- Add/View comments and send email  of invoice details in pdf format.

Shipments
- Shipments section includes listing of shipments, search and filter on time basis.
- Add/Delete tracking number in shipment detail page.
- Add/View comments and send email of shipment details in pdf format.

There is a icon of settings (at the top right side). By clicking it, settings page will be displayed. You can do the app settings as per your requirements.

Order Listing Page

  • This page shows orders listing. By default last 24 hours orders will display.
  • You can go back to dashboard page by clicking home icon.
  • If you click on search icon then search popup will be open. You can search orders using order id, customer firstname, customer lastname, customer email address and date range.
  • You can refresh the order listing by clicking refresh icon.
  • You can filter orders by clicking the filter icon in this page. You can filter orders on time basis (For example, last 24 hrs orders, last 7 days orders etc.) and using status (For example, pending, canceled etc.). Here, we have used time period to filter orders with order status. This Time Period is what you have selected in settings page. For example, if you have selected 3 months in setting page and if you click on pending status in filter popup then you can see pending orders of last 3 months only.
  • You can exit from the order listing by clicking close icon .

  • You can search orders by clicking order id, customer firstname, customer lastname, customer email address and date range.
  • If you click on any search option then you have to enter details which you want to search.

  • By selecting any one from Time spans and order status, you can filter orders as per your selected filter.
  • There is a note for status based filter that " ** Time Period saved in Settings page is applicable here ". For example, if you have selected 3 months in settings page and if you click on pending status in filter popup then you can see pending orders of last 3 months only. Time Period is used only when you click on status in filter popup.

Order Detail Page

  • This page shows order details with ordered products, customer account information, billing and shipping details with all totals.
  • Each product has displayed with its ordered/shipped/invoiced quantity, price, tax and row total. When you click on product name, a popup will be opened that will display product name and sku with product options.
  • You can add/view comments in this page.
  • You can also process order from here. For example, you can hold /unhold /cancel order by clicking buttons that are given at the bottom of the page.
  • You can also create invoice /shipment from there. In invoice/shipment creation, you can also select the quantity for all ordered products.
  • You can email order detail pdf to a different email address.
  • You can go back to listing page by clicking back icon .
  • You can go to next /previous orders by clicking icons displayed on top right side.

  • By clicking product name in order detail page, Popup box will be opened. It shows product name, sku and product options.

Invoice Listing Page

  • Invoices listing of Last 24 hours are displayed by default.
  • Each invoice has been displayed with invoice id, invoice order id, invoice created date, customer name, invoice status and its total.
  • You can go back to dashboard page by clicking home icon .
  • If you click on search icon , search popup will be opened. You can search invoices using invoice id, invoice order id and also by date range.
  • You can refresh the list by clicking refresh icon .
  • You can filter invoices by clicking the filter icon in this page. You can filter invoices on time basis (For example, last 24 hrs invoices, last 7 days invoices etc.) and using status (For example, pending,paid,etc.).   • You can filter shipments by clicking the filter icon in this page. You can filter shipments on time basis (For example, last 24 hrs shipments, last 7 days shipments etc.). Here, we have used time period to filter all shipments with selected time. This Time Period is what you have selected in settings page. For example, if you have selected 3 months in settings page and if you click on all shipments in filter popup then you can see all shipments of last 3 months only.

  • All settings of this app are configured into this page.
  • You can enable/disable notification from here.
  • You can set time and sound settings for notification.
  • You can set time period to filter orders/invoices/shipments for specific time duration.
  • By clicking logout icon (placed right side below), you can exit from the application.
